Here you leave us, without a proper goodbye,

in this at times mundane world of the living.

Your spirit rises as always, far beyond heights

any of us could know.

Your love, your compassion, your enfolding warmth,

will never leave us.

Your memory will never leave us.

We loved you deeply.  We always will.

If only you could have felt then

the love that overwhelms me now.

It is born of the love that radiated from you,

of the light and energy always present with you.

Physically your heart failed you.

In every other way, your heart was your biggest success.

Your heart was more complete while you lived

than any of ours will be now that you've gone.
